Solana leads 2025 blockchain mindshare at 26.79% as Base, Ethereum trail

On December 15, 2025, CoinGecko reported Solana topped blockchain mindshare in 2025 with 26.79%, ahead of Base at 13.94% and Ethereum at 13.43%. Solana’s share fell 12.0 percentage points from 2024, while Sui and BNB Chain more than doubled, reaching 11.77% and 9.05% to enter the top five.
