Bain Capital-backed automotive wiring harness maker Dhoot Transmission has launched its IPO with a price band of Rs 829 to Rs 871 per share, with subscriptions running from August 10 to August 12. The offering includes a Rs 1,400 crore fresh issue and an offer for sale of around 1.9 crore shares, mainly by existing shareholder Bain Capital. At the upper end of the band, the company is expected to raise Rs 3,066.89 crore and list with an estimated market capitalisation of about Rs 17,816.14 crore.

Nazara Technologies posts Rs 82.47 crore Q1 loss as CEO Nitish Mittersain to step down on September 1, 2026
Nazara Technologies reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 82.47 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, while revenue from operations fell 14 percent year on year to Rs 428.77 crore. Founder and CEO Nitish Mittersain said he will resign from the CEO role effective September 1, 2026, and continue as managing director. The company also revised its acquisition plans to buy 100 per cent of Spanish social gaming platforms Bluetile Games and BestPlay Systems for an aggregate fixed cash consideration of USD 303.02 million (about Rs 2,909 crore).

NALCO shares climb after Kotak and ICICI upgrades, as ratings split between buy and add
National Aluminium Company Ltd. (NALCO) posted a strong Q1 FY2026, with revenue at ₹3,806.9 crore, up 39% year on year. Net profit rose 91% to ₹1,049 crore, while EBITDA increased 82% to ₹1,488 crore, helped by higher aluminium prices as well as improved output and sales volumes. The company is progressing pre-commissioning work for a 1 million tonne-per-annum alumina refinery, with commercial operations expected to start in Q3 FY2027. It also plans to ramp up captive coal production to 4.8 million tonnes per annum to ease cost pressures.

FIIs reshape their banking portfolio as stakes fall in major lenders and rise in smaller peers
Foreign institutional investors cut holdings in major Indian banks in Q1 FY27, including HDFC Bank (down 2.18 percentage points to 41.82%), Axis Bank (down 2.09 percentage points to 42.05%) and ICICI Bank (down 0.69 percentage points to 33.79%). KEC International wins Rs 1,063 crore in new orders, taking order book to Rs 6,300 crore
KEC International said it has won new orders worth Rs 1,063 crore spanning civil construction and transmission and distribution, lifting its total order book to Rs 6,300 crore. The company’s civil wins include a high-rise residential project, while its T&D business secured a 400 kV transmission line order in Africa and tower, hardware and pole supplies in the Americas. The stock rose 2% to Rs 478.75, taking its market capitalisation to Rs 12,744 crore.
