Litecoin joins Bitwise 10 Crypto Index ETF as whales increase accumulation

On 9 December 2025, Litecoin secured a small 0.26% allocation in the Bitwise 10 Crypto Index ETF trading on NYSE Arca, placing it alongside Bitcoin and Ethereum. Despite this milestone, Litecoin's spot trading volume fell by nearly 30% to about $189 million, even as on-chain data showed rising whale accumulation and growing buyer dominance. The altcoin's price remained below the 20-day Exponential Moving Average at $83.81, suggesting cautious sentiment while longer-term investors quietly build positions.
