CFTC Authorizes Polymarket to Resume U.S. Operations

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission issued an amended order permitting Polymarket to operate in the United States. The crypto-based prediction market platform had been barred from U.S. operations since 2022 following an enforcement action for running an unregistered derivatives exchange. The approval follows Polymarket's acquisition of QCX, a designated contract market and clearinghouse.
