Bitwise Issues 2026 Crypto Outlook With Ten Predictions Including Potential Ethereum and Solana Record Highs

Asset manager Bitwise released its 2026 cryptocurrency market outlook on Dec. 16 with ten predictions, BlockBeats reports. The firm expects Bitcoin to break its four-year cycle and hit an all-time high with lower volatility than Nvidia, while ETFs absorb over 100% of new supply in Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana. Bitwise forecasts crypto-related equities will outperform technology stocks, Polymarket open interest will reach a record above 2024 U.S. election levels, and on-chain vaults will double assets under management. The outlook also predicts Ethereum and Solana could set new all-time highs if the CLARITY Act passes, half of Ivy League endowments may gain crypto exposure, and more than 100 U.S. crypto-linked ETFs could launch.
