Avista files Idaho rate adjustment proposals, with 3.0% cut to purchased gas costs and 4.2% rise in power costs
Avista (NYSE: AVA) has filed its annual rate adjustment proposals with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission, covering items such as purchased natural gas costs, fixed costs, energy-efficiency programs, power costs and the Bonneville Power Administration Residential Exchange program, with no impact on earnings. The filings include a 3.0% decrease in the purchased gas cost adjustment and a 4.2% increase in the power cost adjustment. If approved, the proposed natural gas rate change would take effect Nov. 1, according to the company.
