Su iExec RLC (RLC)
The iExec (RLC) network bridges cloud resource sellers with buyers, promoting an ecosystem of decentralized, autonomous, privacy-preserving applications. The iExec’s technology relies on Ethereum smart contract that allows virtual cloud infrastructure to provide high-performance computing services. iExec aims for a decentralized infrastructure and market network, where big data and HPC applications, highly valued datasets, and computing resources can be monetized on the blockchain with a peak level of transparency and security. The iExec network strengthens applications running on Ethereum, making it possible for off-chain computation services and datasets on demand. All is made possible because of the iExec proof-of-contribution consensus protocol that validates off-chain computations.
iExec Network (RLC) Features and Updates
What is iExec and how does iExec work? The core tenets of iExec are trust, confidentiality, and governance. The project built an infrastructure that combines blockchain and confidential computing that aims to build the next generation of the internet that connects resource providers with resource users.
iExec DOracle
For 2 years, the project has been working on the design of the proof-of-contribution protocol, which will deliver a flexible solution to the problem of off-chain computation. The proof of contribution is flexible: the trust level of computation can be set arbitrarily and determines the number of replications. It is also equipped with a coherent on-chain incentive mechanism, which protects the whole ecosystem against any attack. And last but not the least, DOracle is very cheap and scalable, the more workers join the iExec platform, the more secure and cheaper to run DOracle. The iExec network relies on a random sampling among all the workers on the platform, along with an on-chain consensus algorithm.
Proof-of-contribution (PoCo)
The iExec platform supplies a network where application providers, workers, and userbase can convene and work together. The decentralized nature of iExec platform implies that no agent is trusted by default, and the agents require to be incentivized to contribute properly.
Pay per task model
The iExec platform introduced a new method for pricing and has defined several task categories that describe execution boundaries. The platform set up a testing infrastructure, so that application developers can be able to evaluate the category of their submissions. Contrarily, worker pools will be able to benchmark infrastructures as opposed to the reference machine.
iExec (RLC) Team
