Bain-backed Dhoot Transmission sets IPO at Rs 829871 a share, opens August 10
Bain Capital-backed automotive wiring harness maker Dhoot Transmission has launched its IPO with a price band of Rs 829 to Rs 871 per share, with subscriptions running from August 10 to August 12. The offering includes a Rs 1,400 crore fresh issue and an offer for sale of around 1.9 crore shares, mainly by existing shareholder Bain Capital. At the upper end of the band, the company is expected to raise Rs 3,066.89 crore and list with an estimated market capitalisation of about Rs 17,816.14 crore.

KEC International wins Rs 1,063 crore in new orders, taking order book to Rs 6,300 crore
KEC International said it has won new orders worth Rs 1,063 crore spanning civil construction and transmission and distribution, lifting its total order book to Rs 6,300 crore. The company’s civil wins include a high-rise residential project, while its T&D business secured a 400 kV transmission line order in Africa and tower, hardware and pole supplies in the Americas. The stock rose 2% to Rs 478.75, taking its market capitalisation to Rs 12,744 crore.

IRCTC, Titagarh Rail and Ircon climb up to 5% after India flags Rs 45,000 crore border rail upgrade plan
India has announced plans to invest up to Rs 45,000 crore ($4.7 billion) to upgrade railway infrastructure along its borders with China, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Railway-linked stocks rose on the news, with IRCTC up 5% to Rs 513 and Ircon International also up 5% to Rs 132. Titagarh Rail gained 3.64% to Rs 855, while RailTel advanced 2.25% to Rs 290.85. RVNL rose 3.19%, and Texmaco Rail and IRFC were up more than 1%.

MTAR Technologies posts 365% profit jump in June 2026 quarter; stock still 950% above IPO, analysts see 45% upside
MTAR Technologies reported Q1 FY26 net profit of Rs 50.23 crore, up 365% year on year, on revenue of Rs 360.72 crore, up 130%. EBITDA margin expanded 548 basis points to 23.58% as EBITDA more than tripled. The company also won a Rs 504 crore civil nuclear order, taking its cumulative order value past Rs 3,100 crore. The stock is up 950% versus its IPO price but is down about 30% from its peak, and analysts see 45% upside.

Bajaj Finance shares notched a second consecutive record, rising 2.57% to Rs 1177.60, taking their monthly gain to 14% and the three-month rise to 25.38%. CLSA reiterated an Outperform rating and lifted its target price to Rs 1,300, implying upside of more than 23% from the previous close. The brokerage said quarterly profit after tax beat its estimate by about 6%, helped by stronger net interest income, higher preprovision operating profit and lower-than-expected credit costs.
